Current Events

Well, the move is officially kicked off. We have made it to Utah, Dan starts work on Monday and we're settling in nicely at my parents house. We're still not sure where we're going to end up and whether or not we'll rent or buy. But, thanks to my very generous parents, we have some time and flexibility with those issues and concerns. :)

Here are some pictures and notes on what's been happening with us. :)

Gavin found his pockets and he LoVeS them!! He's such a little stud!

Gavin has also found his love of reading! He just loves to sit with Mommy and read, read, read! I'm so glad that he's so eager to learn.

Gavin is also a very big fan of being outside and playing at the park. Once he finds a slide that he likes, he's just go and go and go, taking the same route to the top of the slide and then he comes right back down. He has so much fun and can just run around there forever.

Gavin was helping us with our yard sale. I think that he was a little sad to see some of his stuff go, but he did really well, anyway. :)

Gavin was a little bit excited to go on a ride. He made a huge mess in the car so we stripped his car seat and through it all in the wash. He got in it and asked us to hand him his stuff right after we reassembled it.

This is the lovely mess that my kitchen became during our packing. It was so incredibly frustrating. I'm so glad that we're done packing... I'm almost ready to unpack, but I'm still not really looking forward to it, yet.

Our last night in Texas and we got our first Bluebonnet pictures. They're protected in Texas, you're not allowed to cut them or anything. Gavin, obviously, broke that little rule... But, it's so stinking cute!
