Lions, Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

Ok, so not really any lions... Or tigers.... Or bears! Sheesh! Let it go! We did enjoy the company of quite a few exotic animals the other day, though. Here's some proof. ;)


Deer!! In TEXAS!!! Woot!


What is that? Ummm... A Black Buck something-or-other... Whatever, it made my baby smile :)

Ummm... Have a ZEBRA!!!


Beware! They eat cars!


And my mom! Oh my!! I felt so guilty! I'd been trying to get someone on that side of the car to feed the baby zebra and so my mom finally did and he tried to eat her!! See that nice bright pink 'V' on the palm of her hand, ya, zebra teeth. And the people in charge told us that ONLY the zebra's were safe to feed by hand. UGH! Turns out they're the ONLY ones that BITE! :P


Oh ya! A giraffe - RIGHT NEXT TO MY CAR!


And I FED HIM!!! AWESOME!!

And, my baby is WORN out! He had SO MUCH FUN!!! :D

This place was AWESOME! Totally worth the drive (about an hour and a half each way) and easily worth the money (only $40 for all of us and the bag of food).

Special thanks to my friend Stefanie for telling us about this place!! She told us about it at dinner on Friday (before the ice storm) and we went that Sunday. We knew that cold weather was coming so we made sure we got out there before it hit us. Yay!! We had so much fun!!
